Water meters are read around the 15th of each month, EXCLUDING December, January and February due to frozen/buried meter boxes. We recommend that you insulate your meter box during these winter months.
Due to extreme weather in the months of December thru February meters are not normally read and an estimated bill is sent. In March when the meters are read for the first time, you are billed for the for any overage water usage during those months when the meters are not read. Your bill may be higher if you use above the estimated amount.
