LIFEGUARDS

FOR THE 2024 POOL SEASON

 

  Job Type:                        Seasonal/Temporary

  Salary:                             $16.28 Hourly - Beginning Lifeguard

                                          $16.78 Hourly - Experienced Lifeguard

  Closing Date:              When Filled

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be 15+ years of age.

  • Must possess current Lifeguard, First Aid, and CPR Certification.

  • Must be able to work consistently from early June through late August with minimal time off.

  • Preferred:  Water Safety Instructor (WSI) Certification.

 

Duties

  • Monitor activities in the pool area to identify and prevent safety concerns.

  • Enforce facility and pool rules to maintain patron safety.

  • Provide quality customer service to patrons by greeting and answering questions.

  • Collect fees and maintain records in the manner established by the manager and clerk.

  • Assist with cleaning and care of the pool, bath house, and grounds.

  • Teach swimming lessons (requires WSI Certification).
